This is Xueli’s colorful life story about a body that does not produce color pigment. Xueli was an ‘unfortunate baby’ born in a house in China where albinism was believed to bring bad luck. Consequently, she was left at the doorstep of an orphanage by her family when she was only 3 years old. Albinism is a rare genetic condition leaving the individual with light skin and hair due to lack of pigment. She now makes her living by modeling for popular designers. This is a work dedicated to Xueli.
